The Healthy Mind Pyramid focuses on five key elements: sleep, nutrition, connectedness, physical activity, and downtime—all essential for maintaining mental health and wellbeing.

Dr. Jen Walsh – Sleep Physiologist, Consultant & Educator

Leading sleep physiologist with over 25 years of research and academic experience in sleep health. She is the Director of the Centre for Sleep Science at UWA and a Senior Research Fellow at the West Australian Sleep Disorders Research Institute.

With a background in exercise physiology and cardiovascular health, Jen has spent the last two decades focusing on sleep physiology, investigating the causes and treatments for obstructive sleep apnoea and insomnia. She has led postgraduate courses in sleep science and provides fatigue and sleep health education for industry, schools, government, and community organisations.

Kerryn Grace McCabe – Coach, Counsellor, Holistic Nutritionist

Over 11 years of experience empowering individuals to transform their health and lifestyle habits. She holds Graduate Diplomas in Counselling and Nutrition, a Bachelor of Community Health (Psychology Major), and multiple certifications in Human Resources, Health, and Coaching. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Psychology, she is dedicated to personal development and workplace wellbeing.

Previously, Kerryn led Digital Crisis Support at Lifeline WA, managing a team providing online support to individuals in crisis.

As a skilled coach and facilitator, Kerryn has delivered interactive, engaging sessions to over 250 individuals, tailoring methodologies to diverse learning styles

Chris Harris – Psychologist & HMM Co-Founder

Corporate Psychologist and Head of Mental Health at Mineral Resources Limited (MRL), who holds more than 30 years’ experience across psychology and mental health services.

Prior to that, Chris was the General Manager of Community Engagement at Youth Focus and has been a founding member of a number of services in WA including the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children Eating Disorder team (1996) and, the Saint John of God Healthcare Raphael Centre, Subiaco (2003).

In 2016/17 Chris was the inaugural Mental Health Advisor to HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince’s Trust in the United Kingdom. Chris has co-authored peer reviewed publications and presented work nationally and internationally.

Scott Alfonso - Mental Health Coach, Yoga Teacher & Chef

Scott holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counselling and is passionate about creating a holistic approach to mental health support.

With over five years experience teaching yoga and 20 years experience as a chef, I am able to offer a unique and insightful approach to my therapeutic work. By combining mindfulness practices and nutritional support into mental health support, I can empower my clients to support themselves from multiple angles.

Specialising in individuals and couples seeking to foster mental wellbeing in their lives and relationships, I also have extensive experience working with addiction support and individuals living with disabilities.

Paisley Madison - Mindset & Meditation Coach, HMM Manager

Paisley Madison is an experienced NFP coordinator and program facilitator who champions the importance of wellbeing, community, and a sense of spirituality. She has a profound talent for synthesising diverse streams of thought from psychology, marketing, philosophy, mindfulness and meditation. Paisley currently works part-time as the Ops Manager for the Healthy Mind Menu and serves as a non-executive director for the Meeting for Minds charity. She also continues her creative work by offering workshops and retreats, and works with clients one-on-one.
